Stewardship

God provides for the ministry of St. Joseph Church through the generous offerings of many. We honour these gifts with faithful stewardship, ethical business practices, and full accountability so the gifts offered are used to serve and to love.

The Parish Finance Advisory Committee

The Parish Finance Advisory Committee is an advisory and consultative group that works with the Pastor to ensuring the parish goods are administered in accordance with the norms of both civil and canon law.

The financial matters of the parish include revenue, expenses, investments, bookkeeping, salaries, sales, purchases and personnel matters. The Committee oversees the parish books and records, prepares annual income tax returns and financial statements.

The members of the Parish Finance Advisory Committee are the trustees of the material property of the parish on behalf of all parishioners. It works closely with the Pastor to ensure that the pastoral mission of the parish is effectively achieved.
